Caprese Salad Skewers: Bite-sized Party Appetizers

Caprese Salad Skewer Appetizers

Grape tomatoes

Cherry-sized mozzarella

Homemade or store bought basil pesto sauce

1. Rinse your grape tomatoes
2. Drain your mozzarella well and cut each ball in half
3. Skewer one grape tomato, one piece of cheese, then one more tomato on each toothpick
4. Arrange on your serving plate as you go!
5. I like to wait until almost before they will be served to brush pesto sauce over the whole plate. Or put some pesto in a squirt bottle and drizzle over the plate right before serving.
