How to Throw a Fancy BBQ

Welcome to summer! Hope you've been getting some good use out of your grill. Here's some inspiration to fancy up your bbq nights!

Tie up your plastic cutlery in sets with colored napkins and ribbon. The Noble Wife, where I found this inspiration, went so far as to tuck a piece of fresh herb in each bundle!

Serve flavored water! This post has some great ideas for natural ways to flavor water that would be so refreshing on a hot afternoon. Make whole pitchers full packed with flavor additions so guests could serve themselves.

Likewise, you could freeze mint leaves, tiny flowers, or berries in your ice cubes. Charming touch. Here's an easy how-to.

What ever any one is drinking, serve is in a disposable champagne flute. Instant fanciness. Minimal breakage and dishwashing.

I know you're likely grilling, but as guests arrive set out cucumber sandwiches to snack on. Again, instant fanciness. This blog has two recipes for you.

And if you're very ambitious, you can use cookie cutters to cut your mini sandwiches up like this.

Happ BBQing!
